Tips & Tricks Thursday – Two To Try

Today’s T&T is focused on two colors that you should try out right now.

Not only will they add an updated punch to your current interior, but they’ll transition into fall with ease.

1.  Mint Green

This soft green has been having it’s moment for a few seasons now.  The funny thing is that this was my favorite color in the 3rd grade – although back then it was called “sea green”.  Whatever the name (…it was Pistachio last season), it automatically gives a fresh, updated feel to any interior space.  Plus, it pairs beautifully with a number of other colors – especially fall’s deeper palette.  I’m thinking deep navy, eggplant, and other shades of green.

2.  Deep-Sea Blue

I love this take on the deep blue.  It’s deep and rich and looks beautiful paired with shades of gray.  But it also works as the perfect backdrop to lighter, softer colors (see above…).  Plus, it works perfectly with this season’s dark-on-dark trend.  Paired with black = AMAZING.
