Monday Morning Inspiration – Back to Bed

So I suppose we have a new trend here.  For the past few weeks, I’ve been using Monday’s to post shots of rooms that get my inspiration-juices flowing.

It’s not a bad thing, in fact, I’m finding it a really nice way to start the week and get my head back in the design game after a few days off.  Okay, honestly speaking my head is never really away from design thinking, but this is sort of a jump start back into the work week.

Today’s inspiration comes from designer Jamie Herzlinger, and her Caron Street bedroom design in Phoenix, AZ.

The room is just yummy.

It’s soft, cozy, and unmistakably feminine (…a bit unusual to catch my eye, but it did!).  It’s one of those beds where you want to run, full speed, and jump right in – nestling in the cozy linens.  I could see myself spending a rainy afternoon in here…

Seriously.

I see the montage in my head.

Jack Johnson’s “Banana Pancakes” song and all….

What do you think?

Inspired?

Maybe just to go back to bed…
