My “Best Friend’s” House
I love Kelly Wearstler.
I’d like to think that if we ever met, we’d be instant friends (and she’d let me mentor under her and soak in all of her design goodness…). Basically, in my head we’re kind of like best friends. She’s kind of a rebel.
With a design style is eclectic and fun, but always chic.
I love her uncanny ability to mix patterns, textures, and styles seamlessly – creating a cohesive interior space that looks… well… cool.
Just check out her awesome blog (talk about inspiration!) MyVibe MyLife, and you’ll know what I’m talking about.
She’s one of only three celebs that I follow on Instagram (…sharing the company of Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln from The Walking Dead…), and her pics are fabulous. Always inspiring. A little bit glam, and a little bit rock and roll. (Gushing, I know…) It’s what attracts me to her entire brand (oh, yes, BRAND… she’s forayed into fashion as well as interiors… Love!).
So when Lonny Magazine showcased her Beverly Hills home, I just had to share.
Because, after all, that’s what best friends do, right?
“I start with one thing that has more of a voice, and lessen the focus from there.
Too many starlets in a room can cause unnecessary drama.”

Great design advice…
