A Touch of Sunshine
By nature I’m a sucker for a modern/neutral decor.
Although, you might not believe me if you saw my home right now.
I’m kind of experimenting with my vintage / “collected over time” style. I know, I’m a design dichotomy. An onion with many, many layers…
I love the neutral tones, clean lines, and high impact design pieces of a modern (or in my case mid-century modern) interior.
But this post isn’t about neutral colors.
This post is about brining in the sunshine. You know, that warm golden tone that just screams spring…
Now, I feel like yellow is one of those colors that either you love or hate. Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan.
BUT… given the right tone and the right location, a bold yellow can be your best bet for pumping up a drab interior! It looks especially fresh paired with bold or soft blues, or if you want to take the more modern approach, couple it with deep grays and simple shapes.
Here’s what I mean…
I love how subtle this yellow is…
So, yellow. Love it or hate it?
Are you ready to add some sunshine to your interior?
