What I’m Crushing On

Spring is officially underway – which has been really awesome here in Texas (…meaning mild weather in the mid-70’s… woo too!).

The colors are bright and the wildflowers are blooming!

Honestly, the season gives me the warm fuzzies (kind of cheesy, I know), and I get excited to see all of the new spring designs being released by some of my favorite retailers.  They feel like the perfectly timed breath of fresh (Spring) air…

…and they make me want to overhaul my interior (Sigh.).

Bright + Blooms + Warm Temps + New Designs = Major Spring Crushes

Here are some of my favorite new items of the season.

West Elm Huron Sofa

LOVE the unique woven cord design and modern shape.

This could be a viable option for the (long delayed) sunroom project

Restoration Hardware Torpedo Task Lamp

This task lamp is modern and simple and awesome.  I want them for my bedroom.

I love the idea of pairing the sleek finish of these lamps with the vintage Campaign-style dressers.

Throw Pillows

I adore this Trina Turk  for Schumacher fabric (found on the Turquoise Tumbleweed Etsy Shop!).

It kind of reminds me of old school Palm Springs.

Which means it reminds me of California…

…which means I love it!

Lamp Finial

Love this Hillary Thomas lamp finial from Hattan Home, and it comes in a variety of bright colors.

A great way to update your existing lamps!

Nate Berkus for Target

As you know, I love Nate.  But I’ve had mixed feelings about his line for Target.

Some things I really like…

…others, well, not so much.

I feel the same about his new spring line that was just released.

Some of the items miss the mark (in my opinion), but others, like this onyx lamp base, are right on the money.

Crush, crush, crush!  (as in I’m crushing on it – majorly!)

Z Gallery Flush Ceiling Sconce

I know, I’m going a little bit crazy with the spring lighting, but can you blame me?

This one is pricey, but I love the organic feel of the brass leaves.  Very Art Nouveau!

Wisteria Favs

I have three major crushes from the spring collection at Wisteria

(Okay, I’m kind of a crush-slut, but I don’t care).

First, the French Gilt Mirror

I’ve been lusting after a mirror like this for a while now, and the price is definitely right!

Wisteria $299

Wisteria $299

Second, the Mediterranean Doormat

I love the bright colors and fun design.  Super cute for spring!

Wisteria $34

Third, the Diamond Pouf

Poufs are nothing new, but I love the cobalt blue and cream pattern.  It feels fresh new for spring.

Wisteria $179

Do you have any spring crushes?

I’d love to hear about them!
