I’ve talked about it before…
When a trend finds a cult following and flies under the radar for a while. Kind of like that indie band who you loved long before they went mainstream…
Then it happens.
People begin to take notice.
Such is the case with the Dalmatian Print by Furbish (…or prints VERY similar in style).
It’s a cool interpretation of a very recognizable pattern. Much more “designer” than Disney, I like to call it chic-with-a-hint-of-whimsey. It looks cool and bohemian and vintage all at the same time. Plus, it’s a fresh alternative to the standard polka-dot, which (let’s be honest here…) can sometimes look a little too cutesy.
It looks ultra modern paired with crisp black and white fabrics (I’m not even going to mention how awesome it looks with gold and brass… Not even going to mention it…), or add some color and pile on the pattern for a super stylish and eclectic look.
Now, the popularity of this trend makes me kind of excited… and kind of not. I’m excited because the pattern is becoming more available (I’ve been eyeing the pillow from Whitlock & Co. for a while now), and I’m not excited because, well, the pattern is becoming more available (Sigh).
I guess I like it when some things fly under the radar…
*P.S. I want these chairs!*
