What to Check Out This Weekend…

Happy Friday, everyone!

I made a quick trip into my local Target today (the story of my life…), and saw that they were beginning to stock the shelves with all of their Christmas and seasonal decor for the winter.  There seem to be pieces for any budget and style.  From deep jewel tones, to rustic accents, to vintage inspired pieces – the items are fun and on-trend for the season.

Now, I’m usually annoyed when stores put out all of their Christmas decor and begin playing holiday music at any point before Thanksgiving (and this year, Halloween – ugh!), but I understand the way consumerism works.  I’m willing to jump on the bandwagon and get a head start with some of the cute interior pieces that make a home festive for the holidays…. just don’t ask me to start playing Christmas music until December 1.

Here are some of the cute pieces I saw, and you should check out this weekend…

    • Aren’t they great?! It took every ounce of restraint not to get them today. I’m crushing on so many of their holiday items!

Ok, love your blog!! Question… How many different rooms do ypu decorate for Christmas??

    • So glad you like the blog! To answer your question, I always like to change up the main living space and dining room. I would focus on a fireplace (if you have one) and a centerpiece for the dining/coffee table. Then you could add some small elements in other rooms – like cute dishes or towels, a great throw or some pillows. There’s no right or wrong. That’s what’s so great about it!
