What to Check Out This Weekend

I can’t believe that it’s already November, although you wouldn’t know it with the 80 degree weather outside!

I’m ready to get outside and enjoy the lovely, mild temps.  But before I do, I wanted to leave you with a few sites to check out this weekend. is one of my favorite spots to get inspired.  Whether it’s designing for small spaces, researching DIY projects, or discovering new and upcoming trends, you’ll find it here.  I especially love this post by Kim Rinehimer.  It’s all about brass (golds “smart, less-flashy” sibling).  I’m a bit obsessed with brass right now, so this post is right up my alley!

If you enjoyed the DIY tips and tricks of my drapery panels, check out the Young House Love blog.  It’s full of great projects that are simple and budget friendly, too!  (plus, this husband/wife blogging team crack me up with their witty and honest posts)

Do you ever watch your favorite shows on TV and wonder, “I wonder where I could get that dress… top… jacket…etc?”  Be sure to check out  It’s the insider scoop for finding all of your favorite small screen fashion (much of which is surprisingly affordable!).

And, although the weather outside is hardly “frightful”, I’ve compiled some the holiday pieces I’ve  been crushing on…

1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . 5

Have a wonderful weekend!
