Plans For The Weekend

Amidst the Halloween parties (and scrambling to put together last minute costumes), I’ll be tackling some items from “The List” this weekend.

IT’S PROJECT TIME!!

I’ll FINALLY be working on my bedroom drapes.  I’ve got all of the supplies ready to go, and am planning on painting large, gray, horizontal stripes across each Ikea Merete panel!

I’ve only been talking about this for… well… quite a while now.  It’ll be nice to have the project finished and have them hanging up.

One step closer to a finished bedroom – Hooray!!!

My other “task” this weekend is to find a new task-lamp for our computer area (pun intended, of course!).  I’m looking to update the old, standard table lamp to something with a more vintage feel (okay, I see the irony here…).

Here are some of the lamps that have caught my eye.

What do you think?

Or…

The Arion Lamp by DwellStudio.  A girl can dream, right?

Cheers!

  1. I love the picture collection on the wall! I think the Restoration Hardware lamp would look fab on the desk!
