Tracy’s Bedroom
Work has been keeping me pretty busy. This is a good thing. But it has prevented me from my regular, everyday blog posts.
For that, I apologize (…because I know that you’re just WAITING each and every day for my enlightening ideas on design, right?)
Over the weekend, I finished the bedroom inspiration for my friend, Tracy. We’re also waiting for fabric samples to come in for the Mira Vista remodel. Once those arrive, I’ll give you a complete update on that project, too!
In the mean time, here’s how Tracy’s room will look.
We are working with an existing paint color, and limited square footage. She wants to brighten up the space, but still incorporate details that are rich and have some color. We are opting for some crisp navy contrasted with white details. She gravitates toward pieces that have texture and interest – like weathered wood (those mirrors were from Target!!), and iron. We also plan on sprucing up some of the existing furniture with paint and overlays.
What do you think?

Oh, yeah.
… and these are coming along, too…
(please, don’t judge my storage unit/garage)

…staining my life away…
(hey, that could be a song…)

I like the mood board! I love rooms with contrast and this one seems serene without being boring. Nice : ]
Thanks, Jennifer. I can’t wait to see how it all comes together after this point.

Love the bedroom. Feel calm just looking at it.
The mood board looks beautiful. (I love overlays!)
I love them, too! I want to find a place to use them at home.
